Jessica's story starts off in Ireland from humble beginnings. Eldest of a family of six, she had plenty of long locks to play and create looks with. Jessica's mother believes she was born with the gift of passion.
At age fifteen she started on the Salon floor where she wanted to put her dream of becoming a world known hairstylist into play. Jessica's passion started when she decided to further her four year Hairdressing Apprenticeship with another two years intensive training as she felt there was so more to learn. It was then that she learned Mags Brown, Ireland's Toni and Guy head of education had just opened her own Hair studio in Jessica's hometown in Irelands South and she couldn't believe her luck! After six years of intense training and a distinction in her final exams, Jessica decided to migrate to Australia's west with her Fiancé. She took on the role of Style Director with of one of Australia's leading hair salons -Maurice Meade. There she used her editorial skills to hair direct on many TV campaigns, also directing at the Perth Fashion Festival 2014 Camilla show. It was there on one of for many of her L'oréal education and motivational trips that she met with one of the industry's biggest session styling icons and Australia's session stylist of the year three years running - Sarah Laidlaw. Sarah really took Jessica under her kind wing and allowed her to come work-shadow her in Sydney's most known Sun Studios on-set, where Sarah worked on looks for Culture magazine. Taking all her passion and knowledge it was in 2015 that Jessica decided to put her love for the industry into play and she opened up her own exclusive hair studio tucked away in Perth's Golden Triangle, where she specialises in colour, cut, Bridal and session work. Her work is best described as Structured yet Raw - transforming Retro to Nouveau is where she excels and this is why she is known as a Guru in her industry. The studio doors are open Tuesday - Saturday. Colour, cut &The StYle Bar are taken via sms Bridal and Editorial work are taken on via email.
